XpertVR Announces Free Webinar series on the use of Virtual Reality in Education
To conduct a 3 part webinar series over the period of three months
Niagara Region, Ontario - XpertVR, an Ontario based startup focusing on accelerating research studies and e-learning through the use of immersive technology such as Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality has today announced that it will be holding a free webinar series starting from June 16th, 2021 onwards.
The first part of the three part series is titled, ‘How to conduct Research Studies in Virtual Reality?’ and is scheduled for June 16th, 11:00 AM EDT to 12:00 PM EDT. This webinar will reveal important information about the benefits of conducting research studies remotely and highlight some of the use cases of virtual reality in academia.
People who are a part of an academic institution such as a University/College and are working as a PHD student, Researcher or a Professor/Dean can register for the webinar for free at https://meeting.zoho.com/meeting/register?sessionId=1069465460
Evan Sitler, Co-CEO & Co-Founder of XpertVR, will be leading the presentation and will share some interesting insights on embracing VR for academic research.
On being asked about the webinar series, Evan said,
“The ongoing pandemic has made us rethink how we live and work. With many research activities getting postponed due to lab/university closures, it is the time to adapt to new technologies such as VR that can provide ample opportunities for educators, researchers and professors around the world to conduct research studies.”
Founded by Goodman School of Business students Drew MacNeil and Evan Sitler, XpertVR uses XR (VR/AR/MR) simulations to revolutionize research methodologies across enterprises. MacNeil and Sitler met through the business program at Brock University and they credit it’s BioLinc incubator for helping them through their early stage growth.
Today, through academic research and hands-on training, XpertVR is delivering immersive and engaging content to educators across North America. With a number of competing VR firms focused on the technical side of VR, XpertVR has found their niche in creating stories out of their simulations. While still creating highly realistic simulations and easy to use tools for educators.
